If you remove the glow starter from your idling engine and notice an immediate drop in PRM, you may need either a hotter glow plug or need a higher nitro percentage fuel. The Japanese made Redline R1 is developed for high-speed low-nitro boat,airplane, and helicopter engines. Why not to try Redline R1 glow plug first before going to use a higher nitro percentage fuel?

Due to its long-reach thread design (7/32" / 5.55mm), we do not suggest using the R1 in small-size enignes(.15 or less).
