Hughes 500MD detail and colour
Question:
I have just finished building my Hughes 500MD,( camouflage version) for my Raptor 60,(with a Raptor 90 boom) and must say that it is an awesome scale kit. It was so easy to work on. My question for you is: Has the MD500 been modelled on any one particular Army helicopter in real life? the reason i ask, is that i want to put some fine detail on the model eg: lighting system, aerials, any special markings for that aircraft. Also can you tell me the colours used? i have some scratches on the scale shell and i am having trouble matching the paint colour? If the heli is modelled on a particular heli would you know where i could get some pictures of the heli so can add my detail to the shell? I hope you can help me with these questions Regards Neil
Answer:
Dear Neil, Thank you for the mail. MD500 is not a pattern after any Army helicopters in real life but a resembling one created by ourselves in order to fit our Raptor 60. Besides, we should say sorry that the shell with the paint for MD500 is made by our supplier and it is not a standard color. All you can do is find a similar paint in color to mend the scratches. In addition, Thunder Tiger has authorized worldwide distributors that provide marketing and after service for our customers. Please feel free to contact ACEHOBBY DIST.
