Question:
Hello my friends in Thunder Tiger. Since I wrote to you last we have increased the number of TTR cars in our club - 3 TS4N's, 2 ED4's, 1 EB4 S3, 1 EB4 Rally Game, 1 ST-1 - so 8 cars in a club with only 30 members is a good percentage of almost 30%!. OK my reason for e-mailing you this time is for some technical support - in my EK4 I have the monster engine Pro70 and as you know it really screams!!. However my engine is doing something that is causing it to get very hot so I need your help. It starts OK - it will idle fine for a minute but then it starts to rev very high and starts to scream and a pulsing noise can be heard. Have you any idea what is causing this - if I leave it screaming the engine temp shoots up to 270/280+ `F. Also can you advise what % fuel I should use - it seems to run on anything from 10% to 25% but what should it be run on - also what are the tuned settings on the carb?. Thanks again for your great support and we will continue to support you at our club. We are currently developing our off-road track and we will need lots of banners and promotional information - should I contact Amerang in the UK again for these as we do not have a distributer here in our country Ireland (due to a computer crash I have lost Amerang contact details)?. http://community.meath.ie/nnn Thanks,

Dear Mr. Enda O'Donnell, Merry Christmas. According to your statement, the problem could be the fuel too lean and it has relation with the setting of the mixture metering screw and carburetor. Besides, the fuel of 15% nitro is suitable for your engine.
