Dear all, I recently bought a MiniTitan from my local dealer here in Switzerland. First of all, I think this is really a good and amazing helicopter!! After two nice evening with building the helicopter it was at the point to have the first flight. Then I mention that the Heli is shaking a lot when the motor is starting and also at about 75% of engine speed. First I thought that it is a problem with the Blades or paddels, but some hours later, I found out that is a problem with the flap damper. The are to strong. The feathering shaft can't "move" when the damper are in original state. I used a small rasp to make them a little bit bigger that the feathering shaft can move and I used some grease and after that the heli stopped shaking. I wrote in some forums that I'm not the only one with this problem. Maybe this feedback can help you to change theese damper or even to print a small hint in the manual. Maybe you know this feedback already ;-) Hope that my english was good enough that you understand everything. In any case of question, don't hesitate to contact me. Dear Mr. Lars Hoidis, Thanks a lot for your great advice and feedback. The damper is designed for 3D flying, that is why the heli may shake while in low rpm. To add some grease between the spindle and the damper, and speed up the rpm can solve the problem. We will also make optional softer dampers for stable hovering later.
