tt gp42 engine problems
Question:
Hi there,
Hi I am just wondering if you would have any answers to my problem with my tt gp42 engine.
The problem with the engine is that up until a short time ago the plane had been running great until I took it out last time the plane engine does not like to go into vertical climbs or nose dives when idling because then engine just fades out and stops. Everything is tight on the engine and secure.
The engine has not ever been in a crash, never been bumped and in good condition just wondering if you would be able to email me some answers into why my engine is doing this?
Thanks¡
Answer:
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your mail.
It could be the reason that the fuel did not get into the engine when the plane was going into a vertical climb or nose dive if we do not misjudge the problem. For example, if you are doing vertical climbs, the part of fuel tube in the tank may be too short to reach the fuel in the bottom of the tank. Contrarily, if you are doing nose dives, the fuel tube still can not suck in the fuel that gathered in the opposite side of the tank. A softer snake tube may be helpful to this situation but not for all. The best way to prevent it to happen again is to avoide doing these two maneuvers for a long time.
