F91-S BROKE DOWN
Question:
On 21ST July, 2007 I was flying in fields of ¡°Uruguayan Asociation of Aeromodeling¡± in normal rpm when the engine F91-S of your own make broke down.
The engine is assembled to an Extra 300-S .60, the prop is a Master Aircraft 14x6 and the fuel contains 20% of castor oil plus 7.5 nitro , as the instruction manual indicates.
This engine has few hours of flying time what makes me think that it could be a manufacturing defect.
This is why I am sending you this e-mail attaching photos of the faulty parts.
These are a : broken crankshaft, a broken piston, a twisted connecting rod and a broken crankcase.
I have used engines of different makes like O.S., SUPER TIGRE, KYB, ETC., and they have never broken down like this, they have only worn out from prolonged use.
I know that Thunder Tiger has a three-year-guarantee and for that reason I expect a favorable reply from you.
This is the first Thunder Tiger engine I have purchase and I wouldn´t like to be swayed by first impression since it has a good performance compared to others.
Thanking you in advance for your help.
I look forward to hearing from you and don´t hesitate in contacting me.

Dear Mr. Enrique Egaña,
Thanks for your email. Thunder Tiger provides service to customers via distributors worldwide. However, we do not have one in Uruguay for the moment. We will immediately communicate with M.P.M.S.A. in Chile whose service contains Chile and Argentina as the following for help. Of course, we will support them as we can. Could it be possible for you to contact M.P.M.S.A. for service? They may request to send in your engine with purchase invoice to them for further investigation if necessary. Sorry for inconvenience and the procedure.
Best regards,
