GP42 Gasket Set
Question:
I recently removed the cylinder head on my GP42 engine to clean it up after a crash. As shown on the explode drawing on your website I was expecting to find a gasket between the cylinder head and cylinder. I was unable to locate it. The engine has been running well although I have noticed some discoloration on the crankcase and cylinder head where these components meet. To my knowledge the cylinder head has not been removed from this engine before. Please advise. If the gasket is required please advise as to how one may be obtained. My mailing address is 95 Litzenberger Cr., Regina SK, Canada, S4R-5X7. Thankyou. Allan Egler
Answer:
Dear Allan, Thanks for your email. The gasket is required that concerns the pressurization between cylinder head and cylinder. Please check if the gasket adheres tightly to the cylinder head.
