Question on Pro .46
Question:
I have Two new Pro .46 airplane engines and have noticed that there is a
problem with the carburetors. They do not close enough to shut the engine
off. it seems the slot that is machined in the barrel of the carb. is not
long enough. The retaining screw in the back of the carb. goes straight into
the body of the carb instead of at an angle, like some carbs. For this
reason, adjusting this screw does not affect the throw of the barrel. In
fact, if you losen the screw, it would vibrate out as there is no spring, or
anything else to hold it in place. Has there been a problem with these
carburetors?
Please advise...Thanks..Jeff Nelson
