Thunder Tiger Rare Bear ARF .61-.91,63"
Question:
Dear Thunder Tiger
I hope you can help me.
I own a rather nice ¡®Rare Bear¡¯ which I must say is a really good plane to fly.
Unfortunately I recently ¡®dead sticked¡¯ and, whilst managing to land in a fashion, took out the fixed undercarriage rather spectacularly!
The main airframe survived remarkably well but a large part of each wing disintegrated.
I wonder whether you would be able to send me details, or advise, on the original construction of the undercarriage mounting blocks for the fixed wheel version of your plane so that I may be able to repair to original standard.
My modelling skills are fairly good so I would like to repair and get this plane back into the air before winter really arrives in the UK.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Richard Wellington
