Velocity 2
Question:
To whom it may concern: I recently bought a Velocity 2 from e:hobbies, I received it last week and put it together. Today in New Jersey USA the weather was calm and I decided to maiden the Velocity 2, I range checked the plane and everything was fine, and the radio gear receiver is new and works in many other applications, I threw the plane up and it started to climb, the motor started to cut off and on, cutting out and then I lost total control as if the bec in the speed control failed, I did not have control over the servos or speed control, The plane crashed, I did not even have it in the air for longer than 15 seconds, I noticed when I connected the speed control during the building of the plane to set-up the servos, I was getting allot of problems with interference, I contributed that to the speed control or the fact that the motor was not connected yet. I have built, flown, and sold velocity's before but I used my own ulrafly 2700 kv motor and great planes 25 amp silver series speed control with the same futaba micro receiver and I never had an instance where I lost control, I have been a hobbyist for about 20 years and this is by far one of my most dissapointing occurances, I even own a hobby shop called MDP Hobbie located in Southern New Jersey, I even took pictures that I could forward you, I had other hobbyist in my club to witness and they seen the plane which I had no control over, I hope that you could replace my plane for me as I do not have one hundred dollars and the time to build a plane for it to last for less than 15 seconds.
