pro-39h
Question:
Hi,
I have your Pro-39 H in my heli I can't seem to get the engine
to run right or run cool, I am using a heli mix with 15% nitro and 18%
oil The engine doesn't ideal and is running very hot, I can not find any
manual for that engine, can you tell me what all the needle valve
adjustments should be. I was told that with your engine that the main
valve should be four turns out. And what should the internal adjust
should be set at? The one inside the throttle lever.
Thanks Pete
Answer:
Dear Peter,
Thank you for your e-mail. We appreciate your support to Thunder Tiger.
Regarding the main needle setting of the Pro-39H engine, we suggest to firstly rotate it back 4 turns with more fuel entering the engine in hovering. After that, tight it 2~3 clicks for each step gradually to check if the power is enough. Please also check it with full throttle in the sky and make sure that no unusual sound comes from the engine. Then slow down the engine to autorotation in idle when it is at high rpm with full throttle. If the engine is overheated, it can not be slowed down to idle smoothly.
We have attached a manual (0.97MB) for the engine PRO-39H in another following mail in case exceeding the maximum mail permitted.
