Raptor Failure
Question:
To whom it may concern;
Attached are my letters to Amerang Ltd (UK) appertaining wooden blades failure during hovering, during my telephone conversation with Tony (Service Department) he admitted that "we haven't had a wooden blade fail in the last six months". It seems apparent I will have to send my raptor and blades off for independent analysis, depending on the outcome e.g. whether my blades were fit for purpose, will determine my next course of action.
My letters are self-explanatory, your raptors have a fantastic following and I thought I was flying the best, but now I have serious concerns pertaining to the use and thus the safety of some wooden blades being sold in the UK.
Regards
Mark Taylor
Answer:
Dear Mark,
Thank you for your information and the photos. It is a necessary procedure of sending off the helicopter with the blades to Amerang for a further analysis. If the issue is caused by quality of the blade itself, we will definitely take the responsibility. Thanks a lot for your understanding.
